A little girl has received a board game from her father, the lighthouse keeper. Switch lighthouses on and off to navigate your ship around various dangers of the sea, delivering parts to fix a broken lighthouse.
The game was made from painted cardboard cutouts, that were then photographed.
It's a board game, it's a videogame, it's everything!

This game was full of sentiment. I think it's a really cool story whether or not true. The cardboard cut-outs were a great theme graphically, and the audio cues were equally as hilarious and entertaining. There are small animations and even great irony included. This is a great laugh with some awesome truth in it. I loved the ending, so unexpected as we traverse through these rough waters. I believe the monsters may be in league with the equally terrifying Scylla &Charybdis, because I couldn't seem to get around a few for quite some time. However, this was a fantastic short game. I enjoyed my time in it, and there is nothing more I could ask of in a Game. Very cool, I hope you win!

She's unbelievably creative, versatile, mastering every art form. As a programmer, I couldn't have wished for a better partner :)
I'm also glad you enjoyed the sound design - it's always my favorite part of every game jam, running around with a voice recorder and challenging other jammers "make a sound of Kraken!", "how about a flushing toilet?", etc. So the sound was really a group effort.
The Global Game Jam was in January (I just re-uploaded to Itch recently) and I dare to say our entry was one of the better games on our jamsite.
